PRODUCTION NOTES
Filmed in 15 degree weather on the side of a mountain, Let Bygones Be...
was a test of true filmmaking abilities. Being the first film shot under the
Sir
Reel Films
banner, Bygones brought several cast\crew members
together with one focus in mind:
"To start making films and make them our own way!"
Bygones was filmed for virtually nothing and was filmed and
released in
black & white format. Running at a short 8 minutes,
this film was originally released with no music and an even shorter
running time of 6 minutes. After
viewing the film and getting some
constructive feedback, Director Stephen J.
Semones decided to go back
and insert several more shots to expand the
running time and
have his own brother, David Semones, construct a creepy
and
haunting musical score. The end result was still a flawed film, but one
everyone could be happy with.
